PIMA – Come one, come all to the town of Pima’s “Small Town U.S.A. Independence Day” celebration Saturday, July 4.
The celebration will start at 6:30 a.m. with its annual pancake breakfast fundraiser at Heritage Park between the Pima Library and Pima Fire Department on 200 West. The event is a fundraiser for the Eastern Arizona Museum. For just $3 per person, enjoy delicious tender vittles, including everyone’s favorite bacon, and a drink. Veterans and active military eat for free.
Keep the party going at the Pima Pool from 12 – 5 p.m. with free admission. See who can do the most flips off the high-dive without landing on their back or stomach.
Then, at approximately 8 p.m., a fireworks show will be held at the Vard Lines Memorial Rodeo Arena/Pima Ball Fields off 1200 South. The fireworks show is sponsored by the town of Pima in collaboration with the Eden community and Colvin Farms.
