Staff Reports
PIMA – Do you have what it takes to become a member of the Pima Flippers?
Can you get up early every morning, listen to coaches and swim to your potential? Then you might be able to join the largest swim team in the Gila Valley.
And if you’re not quite there yet, perhaps some lessons are what the doctor ordered.
Swim lesson sign-ups with a coach are Thursday, May 9, from 5 – 7 p.m. and Saturday, May 11, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Pima Town Hall. Those interested in joining the Pima Swim Team can sign up then as well or at Pima Town Hall during any working hours.
If neither of those options works for you, the pool will also take registrations for swim lessons when it opens for the season Saturday, May 18.
That’s right, the Pima Pool opens for business Saturday, May 18. Grab your goggles and cool off while watching people fly off the high dive.
