Your “Hometown Pharmacy”

PIMA – Do you harken back to a time when you knew your pharmacist by name and they knew you?
A time when prescription medicines could be made to suit each particular patient?
Well, wait no more because the Palo Verde Pharmacy in Pima, your hometown pharmacy, is now open right in the center of town at 18 W. Center Street.
Pharmacist Brian Paull heads the family business with his wife, Angela, and children.
“We started the pharmacy here in Pima to bring a hometown pharmacy back to Pima,” Brian Paull said.
Brian Paull is a compounding pharmacist, which entails making prescription medications to suit from the raw ingredients.
“That helps leave out some of the ingredients that people are allergic to, such as dyes or additional fillers that aren’t compatible in somebody’s body,” Paull said.
Palo Verde Pharmacy offers free prescription delivery to Pima and the surrounding communities and also offers curbside pickup. Simply call when you arrive at the store and one of the pharmacy associates will assist you from the safety and convenience of your vehicle if you prefer.
At its renovated location at 18 W. Center Street, Palo Verde Pharmacy also offers a wide variety of over-the-counter medications and vitamins commonly found in pharmacies or drug stores. There is also a variety of braces for knee and ankle support.
The store also has a front waiting room and a private consultation room for privacy consults between patient and pharmacist. The pharmacy also offers medication flavoring to change unpleasant pharmaceutical ingredients into something more palatable and immunizations for everyone, including seasonal flu shots.
“We’re here for them,” Brian Paull said. “They (customers) can feel welcome anytime (to) stop by and say hi. Drop off your prescription and have a chat with your local pharmacist as your medication is getting ready.”
So come on down to Palo Verde Pharmacy in Pima Monday – Friday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. or visit the website at paloverdepharmacy.com for more information and view a list of services.
