Socorro P. Morales, of Clifton, entered into eternity on Nov. 7, 2021. She was born on Aug. 23, 1935, in Janos, Chihuahua, Mexico to parents Antonio and Catalina Perea, with siblings, Beto, Gonzalo, and Maria Luisa.
Socorro married the love of her life, David, in 1955, and they were blessed with seven children. The family moved to Morenci in 1957.
She is survived by her son, David (Lorri) Morales, Terri (Anthony) Ortega, Dolores (Danny) Corona, Manuel (Liz) Morales, Alma Morales, and Cristina (Gilbert) Jaquez; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and lots of nieces and nephews.
Socorro was preceded in death by her loving husband, David; her daughter, Gloria; her parents, Antonio and Catalina Perea; her brothers, Gonzalo and Beto, and her sister, Maria Luisa.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, Nov. 20, at 8 a.m., followed by the Recitation of the Rosary at 9 a.m., with the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Holy Cross Parish. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
