Phyllis Elaine Meredith, 85, passed away in her home on Aug. 26, 2019. She was born Feb. 27, 1934, in Jackson, Michigan, to Elmer and Thelma Bush Krome.
First and foremost, Phyllis had a special love for her family. Her compassion for people led her to a nursing degree, and she served many years as a hospital and home healthcare nurse. Her strong will and attitude will be missed, and her selfless, unrelenting love will live on through the hearts of her loved ones.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Meredith; sister, Betty Lou (Jim) Bayne and brother, Ray (Ann) Krome. She is also survived by her children, Tom English, Philip (Kristi) English, Lynette (Randy) Sullivan, Patricia (Erick) Hurtado, and John (Janice) Hardy and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Phyllis had a great love for each and every one of them. She ended all conversations with “Love and Hugs”.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her son, Timothy English.
Private services will be held at a later time.
