Obituary for Lydia Patricia Estrada

Lydia Patricia “Patsy” Estrada, of Safford, passed away on Nov. 28, 2020.  She was born in Safford on March 17, 1963, to Henry Estrada and Libby Palma Estrada, with siblings Gloria, Henry Jr., Kathy, Danny, Art, Victor, and Rudy.

Patsy graduated from Safford High School in 1981 and went on to attend Eastern Arizona College.  She enjoyed playing softball so much that she began coaching.  She was very blessed to have four girls; Joanna, Lydia, Kayla, and Tessa.

She truly loved playing and coaching softball, fishing, camping, attending sporting events, walking, and spending time with her grandchildren.  Patsy was also very excited about being able to go through the Temple for the first time, as she was very devoted to her faith.  Pasty loved seeing her granddaughter win a state championship, and living long enough to see her children grown.

Patsy is survived by her daughters, Joanna (Tom) Jackson, Lydia (Rusty) Carter, Kayla Berryhill, and Tessa Brock.  She is also survived by her siblings, Gloria Upton, Henry (Kathy) Estrada, Kathy Estrada, Victor Estrada, Art (Michael) Estrada, and Rudy Estrada; nine grandchildren, Mia, Macey, Milee, Drake, Lacie, Coltin, Hoyt, Call McCoy, and Kaytelin; one great-grandchild, Caiden Schad, and her pets, Sammy, and Peanut.
