Johnny A. Corona, of Safford, passed away on Oct. 2, 2021, in Tucson, Arizona, at the age of 52. Johnny was born on Sept. 23, 1969, in Morenci, Arizona, to parents Alfredo M. Corona and Dominga Bejarano Corona, with siblings Debra, Regina, Robert, and Jeff.
Johnny attended Safford High School and went on to work in the landscaping business. He enjoyed rock collecting, dancing, and being with his nephews, nieces, great-nieces, and nephews. Johnny was always happy, especially when he would see his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his father, Alfred M. (Paula) Corona; his mother, Dominga “Minnie” (Joe) Marin, and his siblings, Debra Corona, Regina Corona (Louis Valdez), Robert Corona (Kristy Hernandez), and Jeff (Cammie) Corona, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Johnny was preceded in death by his niece, Seleana J. Carrasco, and his grandparents.
A Viewing will take place on Saturday, Oct. 9, at the McDougal’s Caldwell Funeral Chapel from 4 until 6 p.m.
