Obituary for John Hinton McEuen

John Hinton McEuen, passed away on June 15, 2023, in Marana, Arizona. Born May 29, 1939, in Safford, Arizona. John’s loving and supportive nature touched the lives of all who knew him.  

John served for three years in the United States Army with the Airborne Battle Group, obtaining the rank of Sergeant. He spent the majority of his career in the feed business, working in sales, before retiring in 1995. He was a dedicated man who always put his heart into everything he did. In his personal life, John was a devoted father and grandfather who treasured spending time with his family and friends. He believed in maintaining a positive attitude and living life to the fullest. His love for being active and healthy led him to ride horses, spend time at the beach, and support his children and grandchildren in their pursuits.

John is survived by his daughters, Kim Morton (husband Gary), and Suzanne Mejia (husband Ronnie); son, Scott McEuen; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Bond, and his deceased companion Judy Tuley’s daughters, Kim Temple (husband Steve), and Kelly Kent (husband John), and their families. He is preceded in death by his father, Hinton McEuen, and his mother, Loma Motes McEuen. As we remember John’s life and the impact he had on those around him, let us take a moment to reflect on the love and support he provided to his family and friends.

Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, June 29 at 10 a.m. at the Safford Cemetery.
