Obituary for Gloria Gauna

Gloria Gauna passed away on Aug. 1, 2020, in Safford. She was born on Nov. 26, 1935, in Morenci, Arizona to Juan Borjon and Refugio Macias Borjon, with siblings Magdalena, Ruben, Juan Jr. (twin), Rosa, Stella, Esperanza, Mary, Felix, Virginia, Leticia, Sammy, and Magdalena “Maggie”.

Gloria married Apolinar Gauna in Solomonville in 1967. She enjoyed her Bud Light, baking cakes, knitting, loved dancing, and was a collector of angel figurines. She was a second mother to all her nieces and nephews because she couldn’t have children of her own.  She loved them all.
