Our beloved, Eddie Joe Saiz, of Pima, Arizona, died Jan. 25, 2023, at the age of 58 in Phoenix, Arizona.
He was born on June 26, 1964, to Clara Peru Saiz and Benny Barragan Saiz in Safford, Arizona.
Eddie attended Morenci High School and graduated in 1983. He later attended the University of Phoenix and graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2008.
He worked in the semiconductor industry for more than 20 years and moved to Morenci, Arizona to work at Freeport-McMoRan as a technician.
Eddie is survived by his daughter, Nova; his parents, Clara and Benny; his sisters, Rachel, Tina, and Genevieve; his brothers, Danny and Ben, and many nieces and nephews.
A Viewing will be held Thursday, Feb. 2, from 6 – 8 p.m. at McDougal’s Caldwell Funeral Chapel in Safford, Arizona.
A Rosary will be held Friday, Feb. 3, at 12:30 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Safford, Arizona.
The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Safford, Arizona.
Eddie will then be laid to rest on Friday, Feb. 3, at the Safford Cemetery.
A celebration of his life dinner will also be held Friday, Feb. 3, at 4 p.m. at the Safford American Legion.
