Clifford Dale Flint passed away on July 31, 2021, in his home surrounded by his loving family. On Sept. 10, 1969, he was born in Grenada, Mississippi, to his loving parents, Donald Ray Flint Sr. and Beverly Ann Flint. Clifford has two siblings, Donald Ray Flint Jr. (deceased) and Karla Jo Flint-Swan.
Clifford attended Safford Highschool and graduated in 1987. He later worked as a supervisor as a drill and shovel mechanic. He had many hobbies, such as softball, hunting, and fishing. One of Cliff’s most significant experiences was when he was the coach of Low’s Bays softball team. He was known to have the biggest heart and an extraordinary personality. If you could sum up Clifford’s life in three words, it would be “bigger than life.”
You could always hear Clifford saying his favorite saying, “Dang (Gina),” and his famous quote, “The blood of my family flows deep and true. The hand of my friendship is given to a chosen few.” Clifford, and his larger-than-life heart, will be truly missed.
Clifford is survived by his mother, Beverly Ann Flint, and his sister, Karla Jo, and her husband, Denny Swanda, and his nieces, Mackenzie Jo Rose, Autumn Flint, and Kayla Foster, and his nephews, Donovaun Rose, Justin Flint, and Jace Flint.
He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Ray Flint Sr., and his brother, Donald Ray Flint Jr.
The family will receive friends starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 14, at McDougal’s Caldwell Funeral Chapel. The celebration of Cliff’s life will begin at 10 a.m.
