Obituary for Christina ‘Christie’ Michelle Dominguez

It is with great sadness that the family of Christina “Christie” Michelle Dominguez announces that she passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 20, at the age of 38. Christie was born in El Paso, Texas on April 17, 1980, to Armando Dominguez and Lillian Taylor.

Christina was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she remained an active member. She attended high school in both Safford and Sierra Vista.  She was a loving and devoted mother to her son Tyler, he was her whole world.  Christie was a supportive and loving daughter to her mother Lillian, and a loving caregiver to her sister Shannon before she passed away in 2014. Christie loved outdoor activities with her family, including hiking and camping. She was an excellent cook who enjoyed preparing family meals. She also had a passion for music, reading, and being self-sufficient. She was incredibly artistic as witnessed by her numerous drawings and paintings.
