Obituary for Chris Mack

Chris M. Mack was born Aug. 6, 1954, to Rostel and Madeline (Talley) Mack in Safford. He passed peacefully at his home on Lone Star, surrounded by family, Saturday, Oct. 13.

He is survived by his loving first wife, Kim (John) Mack, and brother, Bill; father-in-law, Mickey John, and mother-in-law, Joan John; children, Mickey (Richie Hawkins), Clay (Audra Judd), Chrissy (Casey Windsor), and Justin (Heather Ferguson); grandchildren, Quinten Mack, Rhett Hawkins, Cameron Mack, Tatym Hawkins, Colter Mack, Zaylie Windsor, Susie Mack, Jerzi Hawkins, Madeline Mack, Conner Mack, Kendal Windsor, Mason Mack, Lexie Mack, Marlee Mack, Grayson(Farmer) Mack, and many other family members and great friends.

He’s proceeded in death by his mother, father, and brother, Mike.

Chris was a hard-working business owner of Napa Auto Parts for more than 40 years. He was a fireman, rancher, and served the community in many ways. He influenced many young people in the community with his wisdom, good nature, sense of humor, and fine example.

Viewing will be Saturday, Oct. 20, from 11 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. at the Safford Stake Building of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Stake Center, with Bishop Joe Robles officiating.
