Obituary for Caryl Mae Fancher

Caryl Mae (Watt) Fancher, 86, of Tucson, died at home after a short bout of renal failure surrounded by those that loved her. 

Caryl was born in Lead, South Dakota, to Thomas and Katherine Watt, and graduated from Lead High School.  She married Archie Fancher, who preceded her in death.  She traveled throughout her married life to many Western and Midwestern states in support of her husband’s career, finally settling in Arizona.

Caryl is the sister of Beverly (Norman]) Bergstrom, of Spearfish, South Dakota. She is preceded in death by brothers, Edward, Robert, and Gary, of Lead.

Caryl was the mother of Kathy (Tony) Guereña, of Tennessee; Louise (David) Bjelk, of Tucson, and Richard Fancher, of Snowflake, Arizona. She was so proud of her five grandchildren, Ambrosha, LaDawna, Crystal, Troy, and Kenneth, as well as her 16 great-grandchildren. 

Caryl was known by many names including grandma, great-grandma, GG, mom, momma and, Caryl.  But no matter what she was called, she was always called it with much love by everyone.
