Amanda Jay Olsen, born April 7, 1997, entered into eternal rest on Oct. 30, 2020, at 9:32 p.m. at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut.
During her short life, Amanda enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She loved music and had an excellent singing voice.
Amanda enjoyed playing video games, doing graphic design, art, and camping. She was very kind and generous to others and always tried to cheer up other people.
She is survived by her parents, Christopher Albert Olsen, of Connecticut and Denise Lynn Shannon, of Arizona; her siblings, Matthew Ryan Olsen, of Massachusetts, and Emily Louise Shannon, of Arizona, along with her grandpa, Carl Edward Green, of Arizona, and many other extended family members.
There will be a come and go memorial service for Amanda on Nov. 21, from 1 – 4 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel on Fairgrounds Road in Duncan. Masks will be required.
