Mt. Graham Safe House ready to ‘Light up the Night’

Staff Reports

THATCHER – The Mt. Graham Safe House will present its “Light up the Night” sky lantern release at Thatcher Park on Friday, Oct. 26, from 5 – 7 p.m.

The event is to create awareness of domestic violence as October is Domestic Violence Awareness month.

The evening will feature a Halloween costume contest for both adults and children, with prizes given to the scariest, cutest, most unique and family-themed costumes.

Mt. Graham Safe House staff will be on hand with its Booth-O-Treat to supply children with candy, but please remember to bring your own candy buckets.

There will also be games, music, food, a raffle, and a jumping castle. So, come out to support the awareness of domestic violence and have a good time at the “Light up the Night” event.
