Morenci’s Silvester recognized as a top-tier softball player

Will represent Morenci at EXOS Select 50 showcase

PHOENIX – Morenci senior Brigid Silvester has been selected by EXOS to be one of the 50 softball players from Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah to take part in its Select 50 instructional showcase Saturday, Dec. 7, in Phoenix. 

Representing head coach Joe Garcia’s softball program and the state of Arizona, Silvester will learn and be evaluated by current NPF and National Team players/coaches for various levels of national, regional, and collegiate exposure. A college prospect, Silvester was recognized by EXOS for her varsity accomplishments for Morenci High School. 

EXOS is headquartered in Phoenix and boasts that it works with clients at more than 500 sites worldwide. It is a “human performance” company that works with all sorts of people, including aspiring athletes. It runs Select 50 camps for a variety of sports.    

According to its press release, it is ranked No. 1 in the world of sports performance and utilizes systems that support World Series champions, MLB/NPF All-Stars, MVP’s Hall of Famers, draft picks, All-Americans, National Team athletes, and numerous MLB organizations.
