Volleyball Wildcats seated fourth in the region

MORENCI – The Jasmine Aguinaga-coached No. 26 Morenci Wildcats visit No. 44 Tucson Santa Rita on Tuesday, Oct. 10, and host No. 11 Benson on Thursday, Oct. 12, both for East Region contests.

The other region matches this week are No. 39 Bisbee at Benson and No. 22 Tombstone at No. 31 Pima on Oct. 10; Tombstone at Willcox and Bisbee at Pima on Oct. 12.

A total of 14 region matches remain after this week. During the first few days after the list was released, there was no movement in the Top 16 teams, but No. 24 Pinon dropped to No. 25 and No. 25 Maricopa Sequoia Pathway (4-2, minus 2.1735) moved up to No. 23.

On the second Friday, No. 24 Tucson Saint Augustine Catholic (7-7, minus 3.5386) dropped to No. 27 and was replaced by Pinon.
