MGRMC celebrates first boy and girl born in 2019

SAFFORD – It didn’t take long for the first boy in Graham County to be born in the new year, but the staff at Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center (MGRMC) had to wait a bit longer for the first girl. 

The first child born in 2019 at MGRMC was baby Wesley; born to parents Jake Lilly and Shenae Graham at 12:47 p.m. on Jan. 1. Wesley came in at a robust 8 lbs. 3 oz. and 20” long. 

Baby girl Alyssa took her time and was born Jan. 2 at 8:21 a.m. to parents Chad and Selena Whittenbraker. Alyssa came into the world at 7 lbs. 13 oz. and 19 1/4” long.
