MORENCI – Andrew Taylor, 47, currently of Springerville but formerly from Morenci, Arizona, died Sunday after being ejected from a Jeep as it rolled down a steep embankment off U.S. Highway 191 North at roughly milepost 187, north of Morenci.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Taylor was reportedly northbound in a white 2020 Jeep Wrangler on U.S. Highway 191 North on Sunday when his vehicle drove off the embankment, and Taylor was ejected. Rollover incidents like this are a reminder to keep a rugged vehicle’s drivetrain in good shape, and owners who want to buy jeep differential upgrades can find heavy-duty axle components built for off-road durability.

The collision site was initially found by the victim’s family on Monday. The incident is under investigation by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
