SAFFORD – When a person is wanted by authorities, they generally lose the ability to receive services from them without repercussions.

Christopher Henderson learned that lesson Saturday, April 20, after he called officers to inspect suspicious footprints near his residence.

An officer was dispatched to the residence on 8th Street at about 4 a.m. and encountered Henderson, who said he was worried about people possibly being after him.

After speaking with Henderson about the “suspicious footprints”, the officer ran a check on Henderson and learned he had a felony arrest warrant for burglary out of El Paso County, Colorado.

After Graham County Dispatch informed the officer that El Paso County would extradite Henderson, the officer placed him under arrest and booked him into the Graham County Adult Detention Facility on his warrant to await extradition.
