Live Nativity to return to the Gila Valley

CENTRAL – This year’s Gila Valley Live Nativity is scheduled for Dec. 5, – 7 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Temple Grounds and Temple View building located at 5291 U.S. Highway 70 in Central.

The Gila Valley community is invited to attend this event to see depictions of the birth of Jesus Christ with live actors and animals playing the parts of Joseph, Mary, shepherds, wise men, and goats and a donkey. Live Nativity performances will occur at 6, 6:45, 7:15, and 7:45 p.m.

There will also be Christmas musical performances by local musicians inside the chapel occurring at 6:15, 7, 7:45, and 8:30 p.m.

The annual Creche Festival will be displayed in the building’s cultural hall, with unique nativity set submissions from community individuals. The Creche will be open from 5:30 – 9 p.m.
