Letter to the Editor: MGRMC provides top-notch healthcare

An intoxicated woman allegedly attempted to bite a hospital employee while being medically cleared for the jail.

Dear Editor,

Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center made a commitment to the residents of Graham and Greenlee Counties when we opened in 1973—that we would provide the highest quality of medical care available. Our primary purpose has and always will be taking care of our community and caring for our patients.

We are proud to be recognized for providing excellence in healthcare by receiving the 2021 award of Four Star Excellence from PRC for scoring in the top 25% of hospitals nationally for Overall Quality of Care.

The PRC Excellence in Healthcare Award celebrates organizations and individuals that have achieved excellence throughout the prior year. Award recipients represent the best of the best among healthcare facilities across the nation.

This past year has been challenging, but the staff at MGRMC did an incredible job. They adapted to every situation and continued to provide excellent patient care. This award is because of them; it shows just how incredible and hardworking they truly are. The Admin Team wants the staff to know just how grateful they are for all of our staff’s hard work and commitment to our community’s health.

It is no secret all of us at MGRMC choose to work and live here. We recommit ourselves to providing the highest quality of care every day because we know the next patient that walks through our doors is likely to be our neighbor, our friend, or even a member of our family. We believe our community is the best and could not do what we do without you!

Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center, where it’s always about our community!
