THATCHER – The ASEAC Ribbon Club has changed the Superhero Mayhem event to Julie’s Superhero Mayhem in honor of Julie Hancock. We felt like we needed to provide an outlet for the community to show support for the Hancock family. This event is geared toward the children. With hopes that they will feel like they are doing something for Julie and her family. All money collected from this event will go to Julie’s family.

On March 6 during track practice, Julie Hancock, 11, collapsed and was immediately unresponsive. The coaches and first responders were very quick to act and got her to the hospital quickly. From Mount Graham Regional Medical Center she was flown to  Banner – University Medical Center Tucson, Diamond Children’s Medical Center. It was there on March 8 that Julie went to her heavenly home. Julie was loved by everyone that knew her and her fire red hair and big smile were unforgettable.
