Join EAC and the town of Thatcher as the first Gila Hank-branded street sign is installed

THATCHER – Leaders of Eastern Arizona College and the town of Thatcher will join together Tuesday, Aug. 4, to install the first of 30 Gila Hank-branded street signs that will be installed within two blocks around EAC’s campus in Thatcher.

Who: Todd Haynie, president, EAC Dr. Susan Wood, vice president of student and academic affairs, EAC, Bob Rivera, mayor, town of Thatcher, Heath Brown, town manager, town of Thatcher

What: The first of 30 Gila Hank-branded street signs designed by an EAC student will be installed around EAC’s Thatcher Campus.

Where: College Avenue and Highway 70 in Thatcher (parking available at EAC Activities Center)

When: Tuesday, Aug. 4, 10 a.m.

Why: Eastern Arizona College and the Town of Thatcher have partnered to develop more than 30 Gila Hank-branded street signs that will be installed within two blocks around EAC’s Thatcher Campus. Designed by a former EAC student, these signs will help instill a sense of Monster pride and create a connection for a place we all love – EAC.
