GRAHAM COUNTY – A county resident’s home was destroyed by fire early Friday morning, however, no injuries were reported.

First responders were dispatched at about 2:18 a.m. to a residence in the 500 block of W. Evans Lane. A double-wide manufactured home was fully engulfed upon the arrival of firefighters, and the resident, who called in the fire, was outside of the structure.

Firefighters battled for more than three hours and kept the blaze to the single structure, however, it was deemed a total loss.

According to Graham County Dispatch notes, the resident believed the fire was started by his hot water heater.
