Highway Safety money to be utilized by GCSO for DUI abatement

GRAHAM COUNTY – The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety has awarded the Graham County Sheriff’s Office grants for the Fiscal Year 2024/25.

These funds will be used to pay for overtime expenses for special projects as they relate to DUI/Impaired Driving Enforcement and other Southeast DUI Task Force events in the amount of $32,530, as well as STEP Enforcement for $28,000.

The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety makes funds available to assist law enforcement throughout the State of Arizona to make the roadways safer. The Graham County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety for providing these funds.
