GRAHAM COUNTY – As you all know, it has been a very difficult and uncertain year for all of us as many events and activities have been effected by everything happening in 2020. We have had countless meetings with the Fair Board, county staff, Graham County Health Department and the Board of Supervisors struggling with decisions on how to host a safe and responsible County Fair. We have made every effort to not cancel the Fair entirely and in an effort to provide a safe event for the community we have planned a modified County Fair focusing on livestock and exhibits. We are sad to inform you that we will not be having vendors, entertainment or a carnival this year but are dedicated to supporting our large livestock and exhibits.

We will be having a two-day modified fair on Oct. 9 and 10. The following is the schedule for the 2020 Graham County Fair:

Livestock will open to the public Friday and Saturday, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., with no admission fee

Livestock Show – Friday 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Auction Show – Saturday 4 p.m.

Exhibits (art, food, ag, etc.) open Friday and Saturday, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., with no admission fee

Food vendors will be welcome to set up Friday and Saturday. Contact the Fair Office for more information.

Health Guidelines:

• Masks will be required and provided for those who come with no mask.

• We will have hand washing stations and hand sanitizer at entrances and around the buildings.

• We will have social distancing posters posted throughout.

• We will have several fair employees continuously cleaning restrooms, bleachers and commonly touched areas.

• Buildings with exhibits will have one way arrows to direct traffic.

For more information contact the Fair Office at 428-6240.
