SAFFORD – Do you have a coat you no longer use? Do you need a coat this winter?
The Gila Valley Ministerial Association is collecting new or gently used coats suitable for all ages of people in its annual coat drive.
Those who wish to donate should bring the coats to the church office at the First United Methodist Church at 1020 S. 10th Ave. Coats will be collected until noon on Thursday, Nov. 12. The office is located on the west side of Fellowship Hall across from Our Neighbors Farm & Pantry.
Coats will be given to those who require one on Thursday, Nov. 12, from 5 – 8 p.m. in the patio area of the First United Methodist Church. Those attending the event are asked to wear a mask.
