SAFFORD — The Gila Valley Arts Council is kicking off its 2026–2027 performance season with an evening of fiery rhythms, soulful Spanish guitar, and world-class dance as Jácome Flamenco takes the stage.
The acclaimed group brings its vibrant production, ¡Baile!, to the David M. Player Center for the Arts next Wednesday evening, featuring virtuoso guitarist Chris B. Jácome alongside lead dancer and choreographer Lena Jácome, accompanied by a full troupe of ensemble dancers.
For community members seeking an early preview—or those unable to attend the main stage performance—the duo will also host a special free community outreach exposition earlier in the week on Monday.

- The Folk Legacy Trio (Nov. 4, 2026): Former members of The Kingston Trio and The Diamonds performing beloved classics from the Great American Folksong Book.
- Frisson Ensemble (Feb. 3, 2027): A dynamic chamber ensemble featuring rising stars and alumni of Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall.
- Spanish Brass (March 3, 2027): International award-winning brass quintet bringing eclectic classical and modern repertoire.
