GLOBE – Gila County is pleased to announce the upcoming opening of a new prefabricated restroom facility at the fairgrounds, at 900 E. Fairground Rd., in Globe.

The new restroom is situated at the lower rodeo arenas and is expected to open in Spring 2024.

The 484 square-foot facility features men’s and women’s multi-stall restrooms; adult changing tables; an exterior filtered water cooler with a bottle filler and is ADA compliant.

The addition of this new facility is part of Gila County’s ongoing efforts to improve and upgrade the area, providing a better experience for residents and visitors alike.

“We are excited to offer this new restroom facility at the fairgrounds,” said Gila County Facilities Director Joseph Dickison. “Not only will it provide a much-needed convenience for those attending events at the fairgrounds, but it also demonstrates our commitment to enhancing the overall experience for everyone who visits the area.”

Construction of the new facility is currently underway, and the opening is anticipated for Spring 2024.
