GRAHAM COUNTY – Brace yourselves for an exciting competition at the Graham County Fair, the Rising Star Talent Contest, happening from Oct. 5 – Oct. 7, 2023, at the Graham County Fairgrounds. This annual extravaganza is your chance to witness jaw-dropping talent and let your inner superstar sparkle.
Think you’ve got what it takes to be the next big thing? Don’t wait! Entries for the Rising Star Talent Contest will be grooving in until 7 p.m. on Oct. 2, 2023. The Rising Star Talent Contest is where Graham County’s hidden gems of all ages get to strut their stuff. Whether you’re a musical maestro, a dancing dynamo, a gymnastics guru, or a vocal virtuoso, this show is your moment to steal the spotlight and leave everyone in awe.
Hold onto your hats because we’ve got a lineup that’ll knock your socks off:
Thursday, Oct. 5, starting at 5 p.m.: Rocking instrumental and band performances
Friday, Oct. 6, starting at 1 p.m.: Breathtaking dance and gymnastics showcase
Saturday, Oct. 7, starting at 10:30 a.m.: Mind-blowing vocal performances
But that’s not all. We’ve got divisions for everyone, so no one’s left out:
Division I: Tiny Tots (Ages 0-6) – The cuteness overload category.
Division II: Pre-Teen Sensations (Ages 7-12) – Where the young talents of tomorrow shine.
Division III: Junior Phenoms (Ages 13-17) – The teenage dream category.
Division IV: Senior Stars (Ages 18 and up) – For the adults who’ve still got it.
First-place winners receive $30, second-place, $20, and third-place $10.
