Who is in your family tree? How do I start my family history?

The Safford City-Graham County Library will provide an 11-week class on Wednesday nights, starting at 5:50 p.m., beginning Wednesday, Sept. 4.

The genealogy class will be taught by two experienced local family history enthusiasts, Susan Tuttle and Susan Logan, who will help you gather your records, explore online sources and get personal help.

Each week we will delve into another record source and learn strategies to discover your family with vital records (birth, marriage, death records), church records, census records, cemetery records, and even military records. We will present ways to create a timeline for your ancestor and share your findings with your family.

Come join us to learn more about your own personal history. Register at the main desk today to reserve a seat in the class.
