MORENCI – Don’t miss your chance to hit the mat with the pride of Safford, MMA superstar Justin “The Highlight” Gaethje.
Currently ranked as the No. 4 UFC Lightweight, Gaethje is taking a break from preparing to fight his way to a title shot to train the youth and more.
Gaethje will be joined by World MMA Coach of the Year 2018 Trevor Wittman and 2006 D1 NCAA National Wrestling Champion Ben Charrington for the camp. The camp will instruct attendees by working on hitting mitts and kicks and includes motivational talks.
The camps will run Saturday, Nov. 16, and Sunday, Nov. 17, with campers 6-12 participating in the A.M. Camp from 8 – 11 a.m. and campers 13 and up participating in the PM Camp from 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. at the Morenci Community Center Gym.
The cost of the camp is $40 per attendee and includes a commemorative T-shirt. Space is limited. Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to mix it up and learn from the best.
