Full closure of U.S. Highway 60 between Superior and Miami postponed

U.S. Highway 60 will remain open due to fire-related closure on SR 87

SUPERIOR – The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers that the previously planned full closure of U.S. Highway 60 between Superior and Miami, mileposts 227-243, was scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, for blasting operations related to the US 60, Queen Creek and Waterfall Canyon Bridges Replacement Project is now being postponed. 

U.S. Highway 60 will remain open to accommodate traffic due to the Sand Stone Fire that has closed State Route 87.
