SAFFORD – A free, back-to-school clothing exchange will take place July 27 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meeting house in Safford at 303 W. 20th St. The venue was changed from the Safford LDS Stake Center due to an air conditioning problem.
Those who wish to donate clothes to the exchange are encouraged to drop them off between July 19 – 26 at 2230 S. Lamonica Way in Safford or at 1969 E. Solomon Rd.
Additionally, after 4 p.m. on July 26, items can be brought to the Safford Church on 20th Street.
Donated items need to be clean and in good condition with no stains or holes. Please label bags with sizes and whether they are clothes for a boy or girl.
The clothing exchange will accept infant to adult clothing, backpacks, belts, shoes, and jewelry.
