First babies born at MGRMC in 2020

SAFFORD – The firstborn child for 2020 at Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center was a boy born at 12:56 a.m. on New Year’s Day, but the hospital had to wait another day to welcome the first girl, born on Jan. 2 at 2:24 p.m. 

Marisleysi Urquijo welcomed her son, Samuel Antonio Urquijo, into the world on Jan. 1 at 12:56 a.m. Samuel weighed in at 6 pounds 8 ounces and was 20 inches tall. 

Parents Granger and Shayleh Moffett welcomed their little girl, Jhett Moffett at 2:24 p.m. on Jan. 2. Jhett weighed in at 6 pounds 8 ounces and was 19.5 inches tall.
