MIAMI, ARIZONA – The devastating Telegraph fire resulted in flash floods in 2021, leaving Miami and Globe residents with concerns about environmental quality, and potential contaminants released by the fires and transported by water and wind.

The Cobre Valley Community Environmental Advisory Board arose from the ashes of that circumstance and will hold its next meeting on Thursday, May 11, from 7 – 9 p.m. at the Miami Memorial Library.

This meeting will allow for information regarding the project and research; up-to-date information, and allow the public to ask questions and discuss community concerns to help inform decisions.
