Editorial: Venus and the Crescent Moon

When watering a few of the backyard plants around 7:30 last evening, I happened to gaze skyward and noticed a close association of Venus and a Crescent Moon.

I’m sure there’s an astrological term for the event, but I’m a little rusty on that stuff.

However, I did learn Venus can be as close as 24 million miles and as far as 162 million miles from Earth, with an average of 42 million miles.

So, if you’re considering booking a space cruise, pack a couple of extra lunches if you plan on making the trip. It might take a while.

Incidentally, not certain which one is the Democrat or the Republican.  Or, if it matters.

Other than if one crashed into the other, I’m almost 100% sure it would be Trump’s fault.

Not even the heavens aren’t safe!
