If anyone seriously believed the renowned Dr. Anthony Fauci would reveal any incriminating COVID information during his appearance before a Congressional hearing on July 29, 2026, they must have missed his prior news interviews, in which he said nothing but promised to cooperate.
“I am very happy to testify before any Congressional oversight committee. I have nothing to hide. I can explain and validate everything that I’ve done… I’m going to do what I need to do, and that is cooperate fully, because we have nothing to hide at all.”
— CNN interview, August 2022.
Obviously, things have changed considerably since then. Dr. Fauci now realizes
as an alleged instigator of the virus, he has the Constitutional protection not to implicate himself.
For a guy that has “nothing to hide,” repeatedly pleading the 5th is a funny way of showing it.
Why should he talk? President Joe Biden gave him a Presidential Pardon from prosecution for any alleged crimes, now and in the future.
Joe also did the same for various members of his family and friends.
Personally, I’m not certain how a person can be pardoned for a crime he/she has not yet been indicted or prosecuted for, but Joe and his crew must have thought it was perfectly legit.
Or, maybe it was a case of “It’s never been done before, so why not try it?”
However, since just about everyone now agrees Joe’s mental fatigue was in full bloom at the end of his Presidency, then the suspicion automatically arises that if he really wasn’t cognizant of his surroundings, but was signing pardons and other documents in his final few days in office (by use of an autopen machine), then are these records really lawful and binding?
Is a deteriorating mind, coupled with an automatic handwriting device, sufficient to guarantee authenticity to whatever papers Joe may have affixed his signature to in his remaining days in the Oval Office?
Basically, is a President’s signature — real or artificial — regardless of his mental or physical health, a genuine and enforceable legal action?
Dr. Fauci’s attorney team seems to think so. Plus, taking the 5th over a hundred times during the hearing adds a little extra insurance.
And, increases doubt in an already suspicious public. Principally, why refuse to answer a simple “What day of the week is it?” question, without invoking the 5th?
Tony had Joe’s pardon in his pocket, couldn’t be held liable for answering incriminating questions Congressional representatives would ask, so why not tell the truth?
Seemingly, Tony could be covering for other misdeeds by other associates who do not have a Presidential pardon.
Since the disruptive days of the “COVID pandemic,” increasing evidence has been revealed, indicating Fauci’s direct involvement in something called “Gain- of-Function research” in experimenting and testing various flu viruses.
His influence in the Federal government’s health organizations is evident in major efforts to close down businesses, schools, and churches, to wear facemasks, to stay six feet apart, to work from home, and to compel the development and distribution of experimental vaccines to the public.
Several of these drugs had not yet received FDA approval before being offered as a preventive for the virus, nor were side effects a major concern.
President Joe, who received two or three vaccines and boosters, advised these “jabs” would protect us. Yet, they didn’t seem to work for him.
Fauci, himself, has also been treated for heart ailments since receiving the vaccines.
Despite the precautions, the economy and society suffered as a result; to such an extent we still haven’t fully recovered.
Meanwhile, pharmaceutical manufacturers earned billions of dollars from their concoctions.
As mentioned, Dr. Fauci appeared before Congress previously regarding his association with COVID. He answered questions, offered explanations, and assured everyone things were okay.
Until facts and figures began to indicate otherwise, and his whole game plan started unraveling.
For a guy who’s basked in the limelight for many years, was an idol of the Left in leading the charge against a worldwide virus, received accolades from presidents and prime ministers, applauded for his scientific knowledge of diseases, appeared on magazine covers, numerous TV interviews and encouraged the production of an antidote to ease the discomforts and deaths from the plague has now come down from his teetering tower to face an inquisitive U.S. Congress with the simple retort “On the advice of council, I plead my Constitutional rights under the 5th Amendment.”
One hundred and eleven times.*
He’s gone from praise, to piety, to pity, to possible prosecution — a road a lot of these characters eventually wander down.
Revealing the fact, Fauci either doesn’t trust the validity of Joe’s pardon by hiding behind the 5th, or he’s a lying SOB, refusing to disclose any information that could put him “behind bars” in a Federal penitentiary somewhere.
The illusion of “The famous Dr. Fauci” is simply that — an illusion.
*Dr. Fauci’s 111 5th Amendment pleas during a single Congressional hearing may be a new record. However, there have been more combined 5th Amendment pleas by a defendant over multiple court appearances.

Editor’s Note: Donald Trump invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination more than 440 times during a single four-hour civil deposition on August 10, 2022. According to his legal team, the only question Trump directly answered during the entire session was a request to state his name.
