WILLCOX – Motorists on both east- and westbound Interstate 10 near the west side of Willcox should expect a short detour starting the morning of Sept. 18 for bridgework.

All traffic will be directed off of I-10 at Exit 336 and will re-enter I-10 using the on-ramps.

Work is scheduled between 6 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, and 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19.

The weekend closure is one of several planned during the project to replace the bridge deck over I-10.

Drivers should proceed with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.

For more information, go to theĀ project website.

While U.S. Highway 60 is currently closed between Miami and Superior for the Pinto Creek Bridge Replacement Project, the two closures will not overlap as that closure is scheduled to end Friday, Sept. 17, at noon.
