THATCHER — Eastern Arizona College’s Symphony Orchestra will present its annual concert Saturday, Nov. 17, at 7:30 p.m., in the EAC Activities Center – Lee Little Theater.
“The pieces in this concert represents dances and dancing styles from around the world,” said Franklin Alvarez, EAC orchestra director. “We will take the audience on a journey through the Czech Republic, Russia, and Italy.”
The concert program will include “Slavonic Dance Op. 46 No. 8” by Antonin Dvorak, “Waltz from ‘Sleeping Beauty’” by Pytor Ilyich Tchaikovsky, “Dance of the Hours” by Amilcare Ponchielli, and more.
