Auditions for Eastern Arizona College’s spring musical, Once Upon a Mattress, will be held from Jan. 25-27.

THATCHER — Auditions for Eastern Arizona College’s spring musical, Once Upon a Mattress, will be held Jan. 25-27, with acting and music auditions on Jan. 25, from 7-9 p.m., and Jan. 26, from 7-8:15 p.m.; dance auditions will be on Jan. 26, from 8:30-10 p.m., and callbacks will be on Jan. 27, from 7-9 p.m. in the EAC Choir Room (FA-111).
Community members are encouraged to audition; however, all those auditioning should be prepared to commit to the rehearsal schedule. For the first night, interested performers should prepare a short song and a brief monologue, each about one minute long. An accompanist and a CD player will be available as needed, and their use is strongly suggested.
Dance auditions will be held on the second night and it is important to dress comfortably. This musical has a large number of dance numbers and all interested in participating must attend.
A callback list will be posted on Thursday, Jan. 27, and only those on the list will need to come to the callbacks that night.
