THATCHER — Eastern Arizona College’s Fine Arts Division is thrilled to extend an invitation to art enthusiasts and the community at large for the opening of its annual Faculty Art Show. This exciting event is scheduled to take place on Monday, Jan. 29, from 5-7 p.m. in the Lobby of the Academic Programs Building.
The Faculty Art Show showcases the incredible artistic talents of faculty members from various disciplines across the campus. The art on display not only reflects the creativity and passion of the faculty artists but also offers a captivating glimpse into the rich artistic tapestry that thrives within Eastern Arizona College.
Faculty artists will be present during the opening, eager to engage with the public and share insights into their creative processes. This interactive experience provides a wonderful chance for attendees to connect with the artists, gain a deeper understanding of the inspiration behind each piece, and perhaps even uncover some surprises.
The celebration doesn’t end with the opening night. The Faculty Art Show will continue to grace the Academic Programs Building, creating a visually stimulating environment for all, until Feb. 26. This extended exhibition period allows ample time for those who may not make it to the opening night to explore and appreciate the remarkable artworks at their own pace.
Jeff Henley, the Art Show coordinator and EAC graphic design professor, expresses his enthusiasm for this year’s showcase, stating, “This is a great show, and every year there are some surprises. Attendees will be surprised to see how many artists we have on staff!” With such a ringing endorsement from the coordinator himself, you can be assured that this event is not to be missed.
