EAC’s Children’s Theatre to present James and the Giant Peach

THATCHER — Eastern Arizona College’s Children’s Theatre is excited to announce the upcoming, double cast performance of “James and the Giant Peach.”

Cast One will perform March 26 and 28, at 6:30 p.m., and March 30, at 1 p.m. Cast Two takes the stage March 27 and 29 at 6:30 p.m., and March 30 at 5 p.m. Both casts will perform in the Activities Center-Lee Little Theatre.

Cast One stars Josh Jones as James, Archer Carlton as Ladahlord, Courtney Hunt as Ladybug, Kyler Reed as Grasshopper, Chelsea Lauritzen as Spider, Hollen Hoopes as Earthworm, Brock Innes as Centipede, Tressie West as Spiker, and Miley Peterson as Sponge.

Cast Two stars Morgan Cluff as James, Kennedy Tregaskes as Ladahlord, Elizabeth Ortega as Ladybug, Jonathan Gabbitas as Grasshopper, Steve Wilkins as Spider, Sylas Stockton as Earthworm, Juanito Blancarte as Centipede, Lindsay Richins as Spiker, and Kate Rapier as Sponge.

“This play promises to be an evening of fun for the entire family,” said the director, Penny Whetten. “We haven’t done this play for a long time and we are excited to reprise it for Spring 2019!”

Admission to the play is $3/person and tickets are available at the EAC Ticket Office at 428-8228 or at the door.
