THATCHER — Eastern Arizona College’s Music Department will soon present two annual concerts: Symphonic Band on Monday, April 30, and Jazz Ensemble on Wednesday, May 2.
Both concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. in EAC’s Fine Arts Auditorium. Admission is free.
“Both concerts are suitable and fun for audiences of all ages,” said EAC band director, Geoff DeSpain. “The students in the music program here at EAC are hard working. They have put together two fantastic concerts that will be enjoyable for all to hear.”
DeSpain would like to especially invite all young musicians in the Gila Valley to come and enjoy the musical styling of EAC’s bands.
“Who knows, maybe they will become members of the Gila Monster Band one day,” said DeSpain.
