EAC Small Business Development Center accepting applications for its CO.STARTERS program

THATCHER – The Eastern Arizona College Small Business Development Center is now accepting applications for the 2021 CO.STARTERS program aimed at Graham and Greenlee County residents ready to explore their business ideas.  

CO.STARTERS is a business development program that helps aspiring entrepreneurs put ideas into action, and turn a passion into a sustainable and thriving small business.  Classes will start on Jan. 19 and run for 10 Tuesdays through March from 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.  The live and interactive Zoom classes will be facilitated by EAC SBDC Director, Kevin Peck, and other community members. 

Applicants should be 1) aspiring entrepreneurs with a specific idea to explore, 2) business owners who have been open less than one year, or 3) established businesses looking to launch a new product or service.

All applicants will be evaluated for final acceptance into the program.  Spots are limited but qualified applicants will receive a full-tuition scholarship ($375 value) thanks to sponsorships by the USDA, Freeport-McMoRan Inc., and The United Way of Graham and Greenlee Counties.  Each participant will receive a comprehensive program binder to use during the course along with access to online resources and a network of small business owners throughout the nation.
