EAC ranked as top nursing school program in Arizona

THATCHER – Eastern Arizona College has been ranked as having the number one LPN nursing school program in the state of Arizona by PracticalNursing.org in its sixth annual Nursing School Program Rankings. 

EAC scored a perfect 100 on the rankings, which uses the NCLEX-PN exam pass rates with other various methods to come up with a practical score. 

“Eastern Arizona College, located in Thatcher, tops the ranks with (its) excellent LPN program,” the website reported. “Enrolled students learn nursing skills through courses such as Nutrition, Pharmacology, and Human Pathophysiology, and strengthen interpersonal skills through written communication and more. Grads are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-PN examination.”

Rounding out the top five were Arizona Western in second place (100), Gateway Community College in third (98.91), Northland Pioneer College in fourth (98.39), and Cochise College in fifth (96.96).
