THATCHER — Eastern Arizona College’s (EAC) Music department proudly presents the 2023 Faculty Recital, on Sept. 20, at 7 p.m., in the Activities Center – Lee Little Theater.

The Faculty Recital first started so the teachers could demonstrate to their students that they don’t just talk the talk, they walk the walk. In other words, they want to lead by example. “It is a way for us to show our students what we expect of them at their own solo recitals at the end of each semester,” said Dr. Gideon Burrows, Choral Director at EAC.

It also gives the community a chance to enjoy a wide variety of musical styles provided by professors Geoff DeSpain on the tuba, Franklin Alvarez on the viola, Chase Moore on the piano, and the voice of Gideon Burrows.

Admission is free and promises to be fun for the whole family.
