EAC presents two SBDC seminars

THATCHER – Eastern Arizona College’s Small Business Development Center will present two seminars starting with, “Start Up Smart: Taking the right steps to start your own business” to be held Jan. 15, from 6-8 p.m., in the High-Tech Center, Room #124.

“This class will cover all the basics to help entrepreneurs maximize their success,” said Kevin Peck, director of the EAC Small Business Development Center and seminar presenter.

The course will cover what to think about ahead of time, why businesses fail and how to avoid it, how you can increase your chances of survival, basics of starting a business, resources, and more.

The second seminar, “QuickBooks Online for Small Business,” is scheduled for Jan. 22-24, from 5:30-9 p.m., in the High-Tech Center, Room #116. Students will learn how to use QuickBooks (online version) for all their business needs . . . in just three nights.

“It is important to note that we will be teaching the online version of QuickBooks in this class,” said Petrea Kunz, instructor for the class.
